A.S.S.I.S.T.E.D. (A Simple System for Integration of Smart Technologies for E-inclusion and Disabilities) was developed during the internship at the Research Laboratory LACAM (Acquisizione della conoscenza e apprendimento nelle macchine) of the Department of Computer Science of Bari between March and June 2007 with a team of 3 people. Other members of Group: Massimiliano Giustizieri, Luca Quaranta. Teachers: Prof. Giovanni Semeraro, Dott. Pasquale Lops. A.S.S.I.S.T.E.D. is part of my University Degree Thesi "Realizzazione di servizi di supporto a utenti diversamente abili" (Implementation of support services to users with disabilities) From July 2007, ASSITED has become a Project Research and Development of Exhicon ICT srl. The system has thus been re-engineered has led to the development of Assistive Suite, a richer and more stable version of ASSISTED.
A.S.S.I.S.T.E.D. is a framework developed in JAVA. Its goal is greater integration of assistive technology to support the use of a computer by a user with motor disabilities, which controls the pointer through a Head-Tracking.
